Clint Borzoni

Clint Borzoni’s music reflects his passion for lyricism and functional harmony. He has composed over forty pieces, including a piano concerto, song cycle, percussion quartet, piece for orchestra, two string quartets, and several works for chamber orchestra. He also wrote the music for the full-length musical, “My Life as a Bald Soprano.” He studied with Pulitzer Prize-winning composer David Del Tredici and has won the Morton Feldman Award. He composed the opera “Antinous and Hadrian” for the American Opera Projects’ Composers and the Voice Series. His opera “When Adonis Calls” was performed at the Fort Worth Opera’s Frontiers New Composers workshop. He is currently working on his fifth opera “The Copper Queen” for the Arizona Opera’s new works program.
